The 8-person cabin lift moves rapidly from Pemmern (1,530 m) to the top station on the Schwarzseespitze (2,070 m)
which is the starting point for numerous possibilities for hiking, among the most beautiful in South Tyrol.
The walk to Rittner Horn (2,270 m) is particularly appropriate for families since small children as well as older
persons can hike it almost without any effort. The summit can be reached in one hour.
The view at Rittner Horn is one of the most well known in the Alps and spans from the huge glaciers of
the Ortler in the west far into the legendary Dolomite world in the east and from the Stubaier Alps
and Zillertaler Alps in the north all the way to Presanella and Adamello in the south where it
is possible to see the Brenta Dolomites with their breathtaking rock formations.
